Many people are plagued with the spinal column functional problems; that’s why new inventions are very well accepted by the market. In practice, a reflex-therapeutic method with which muscular imbalances can be evened out and thus removes blockages of the spine and the ileo - sacral joints has very often proven worthwhile. Blockages of the spine and the ileo-sacral joints are very common and limit the spinal capability. The most common diseases physicians have to deal with daily are chronic backache, pain in the shoulders, neck or the headache. With physical examinations the physicians frequently diagnose the blockages of the spine and the ileo-sacral joints, even though the radiography or the CT show an unspecified disorder of joint. The mentioned problems don’t emerge only because of lack of exercise or the incorrect position of the musculoskeletal system, also because food allergies, interfering fields in the sense of neural therapy, stress, psychosomatic disorders, electromagnetic radiation etc. Even though we discover the exact cause, the therapy is often very difficult.

Dr. Theodor Wohlmann developed a specific combination to treat functional problems of the spinal column – the combination of substances and the therapeutic procedure. The new method, gained from long clinical experience, is based on a reflex-therapeutic stimulation of very sensitive acupuncture points. This is done with a mixture of homeopathic substances in a cylindrical metal container. Rotating over the skin surface, the device generates an electro-magnetic oscillation pattern, which leads to a response and a stimulation of the acupuncture points.

Reflex-therapeutic regulatory measures, like neural therapy, chirotherapy or acupuncture, can relieve the pain in relatively short time. We confirmed the potency of the this new procedure, in which we stimulate the acupuncture points using the combination of substances, by treating our patients with spine and ileo-sacral joints problems in two ways: With the active therapeutic device and the placebo method.

Spine bones and ileo-sacral joints can move out of position – functional blockage by imbalanced excitation patterns of the muscles which are attached right and left to the spine. On one side the vector of muscular strength is predominant and the appropriate vertebra thus becomes dislocated. Classical heavy carrying trauma and other unfavorable mechanical influences on the spine like falls play a subordinate role in generating vertebral blockages.

By stimulating the determinate acupuncture points, regulation processes in the brain are being stimulated and shifted down to the segmental level of the spinal cord and establish the neuro-muscular balance. That is how the position of the spinal column and the ileo-sacral joints corrects automatically. The pains disappear already during the procedure or right after it, as experienced.

The use of the device is very simple and can be used by the patient himself. But is recommendable to entrust the work to a trained therapist.
It is necessary to establish the correct diagnose and find the pain causes before using the device.

Clinical research studies

The effect created by the device is not only restricted to orthopedic effects. With appropriate sensitive measure methods like quantitive – topographical EEG (electroencephalogram), we can control and document the electro-physiological changes trigged by the device in the brain.

We have tested the effects of the therapeutic device on 20 patients with different kinds of blockages and aches.
With chiropractic interventions we established an exact diagnosis of the wrong position of the vertebra and ileo-sacral joints and wrote down the level of the limited movability. We entered the ache level of the patient, measured before the therapy with our device started, in a chart; the strength of the pain was valuated with numbers from 0 to 10.

We measured the quantitive topographical EEG of the patient in normal conditions. Patients were exposed to the rotation of the therapeutic device – the spine equalizer (active and passive manner) on certain acupuncture points twice for a minute. After every procedure we measured the EEG for the following five minutes.

Before the procedure we established the active therapeutic device and the placebo method device. The patient was not aware in which procedure the active therapeutic device was used, neither the therapist was. The supervisory physician, that attended the procedure, marked the two different devices. Only after the procedure was finished the supervisory physician revealed, which was the active therapeutic device and which the placebo method device. Then we established another diagnosis applying the chiropractic method and asked the patients, if they feel any pain.

The spine and ileo-sacral joints blockages were solved thanks to the substances in the active therapeutic device. After the therapy all the functional problems caused by the limited movability, also the aches almost disappeared. We could prove the results observing the chart with the ache level values. The average level of the pain reduced from 5,15 to 0,66 immediately after the procedure.

On a neurophysiologic level we noticed changes in EEG measurements caused by the use of the active device in comparison with the placebo method. The alpha 2 and beta 2 frequency range reduced, the delta frequency range was less noticeable and also the theta frequency range the EEG value increased.

With this clinical study we proved, that the described procedure can heal every distortion of the spine and the ileo-sacral joints.

With the EEG measurements we proved, that the acupuncture points stimulation triggers the regulatory procedures in the brain and heal the neuro-muscular imbalances. That is how the excessive tension of the vector of muscle strength, which turned the vertebra in its own direction, can be reduced and the juxtaposed pre-stretched vector of muscle strength can build up a higher tension and move the vertebra back into the correct position again.

Dr. Theodor Wohlmann helps us to understand better the backaches and the relation between the spinal column and the internal organs. He is not engaged with the traditional models of explaining the causes of the backache appearance. He explains, that a lot of disease cases are conditioned by the vertebra and pelvic wrong position.
The author of the book proves, that the ordinary therapeutic healing method is expensive, but not always useful.
The book presents a new and very successful kind of treatment, which can easily heal the majority of the aches with origins in the spinal column.
